What is an FFP3 mask?

FFP3 masks are masks that meet the European (CEEN 1409:2001) standard, which has three levels: FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3.



Both the European and US standards for FFP3 masks are designated for testing with the US TSI-8130 Automated Filter Testers. The NaCl method is used for Class N in the U.S. standard, the DOP method is used for Class R, and the DOP method is used for the European standard.
