How to wear a cloth face mask

The following are some important points for putting on and taking off the cloth mask.

Wash or disinfect your hands before and after you put on and take off the mask.

Wear the mask over your nose and mouth.

Tie it behind your head or use earrings and make sure that it fits properly.

Do not touch the mask while it is on.

 


If you accidentally touch the mask, wash or disinfect your hands.

If the mask becomes wet or dirty, replace it with a clean mask. Place the used mask in a sealable bag until you can clean it.

Unhook the mask or lift the earrings and remove the mask without touching the front of the mask or your face.

Wash your hands immediately after removing the mask.

Wash your hands regularly with soap and water or wash the mask in the washing machine. It is okay to wash it with other clothes.
