Problems with FFP2 cleaning

 

The outer layer of the FFP2 category mask tends to accumulate a lot of dust and bacteria from the outside air, while the inner layer blocks exhaled bacteria and saliva, so the two sides should not be used interchangeably, otherwise the dirt contaminated by the outer layer will be inhaled when it is directly on the face, and become a source of infection.

FFP2 category masks are similar to N95 and KN95 masks in that they cannot be cleaned. Because wetting will cause the mask to release static electricity, it is unable to absorb dust less than 5um in diameter.

High-temperature steam disinfection is similar to cleaning; water vapor also causes static electricity to be released, resulting in mask failure.
