Paper can is the brother of composite can. In practical applications, they are mainly used as outer packaging, rather than canned packaging that emphasizes tightness as composite can. Therefore, the entire history of paper can had become complex, varied, and of varying qualities. Tracing the source, the manufacturing process of paper can originated from the textile fiber industry.
The earliest paper cone, and the later paper tube, had been used as packaging materials for industrial products in the development process in the late 19th and early 20th century. In the golden period of prosperity of the textile industry, a large number of excellent industrial paper tube companies emerged in the industry. Due to the gradual shift of the textile fiber industry’s focus to Asia and other regions, the growth of the textile market stalled. Paper tube manufactures in Europe and USA began targeting the consumer product packaging industry. Paper can evolved at the historic moment, and stepped on the historical stage of consumer product packaging.
