Usually, when window boxes are mentioned,
people think of the decorative European custom of planting flowers in special
boxes on external window sills. That's not what we're talking about today,
however.
Today we are
talking about a special kind of gift box. A box that can really make gift
giving extra special, plus they're also perfect for retailing certain types of
products.
As you might
have already guessed, window box
packaging simply involves gift boxes with a clear window, allowing people to actually get a glimpse
of what lies within. High-end department stores like Harrods and Macy's love
the window box concept and use it for packaging many luxury goods.
